ThurbsDVD071 Want honest, timely feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your organization?  Ready to target key areas for strategic improvement and endow your staff with realistic methods for achieving desired outcomes?  A consultation from Chris can do all that and more by providing a fresh set of experienced eyes to examine your camp, school, or youth development organization from the outside in.

Chris’s consultative strengths are leadership, management, program delivery, youth development, and customer service.  For business, financial, or legal consultations, consult other qualified professionals.  Please note that consultations are not a substitute for accreditation, but can help you prepare for the accreditation process.

Each consultation is tailored to fit your specific needs and answer your most pressing quality and customer service questions.  Typically, a consultation involves four steps:

  1. Previsit conference calls with top-level decision-makers in the organization.
  2. An in-person visit to observe the camp, school, or business in action.
  3. A detailed feedback session where goals and methods for implementing change are discussed along with a summary of the organization’s strengths.
  4. A follow-up session to track progress on implementing change.

"It's really helpful to talk with someone who is willing to listen so well, and who can respond with a suggestion that tends to clear away fog and reassure inner truths a director may know but still be conflicted about.  Chris, I can think of several times in recent years when you've been speaking in that signature calm and unstuttering way, and I've felt the rightness of a certain approach or point of view come into focus; something I knew all along, but needed help to grasp and go with, leaving other alternatives and second-guesses behind.  You have great skill; worth every cent."

Mike Sladden, Director, Camp Pathfinder
